Why this exists

The Peruvian community in greater Los Angeles is large, active, and spread across dozens of neighborhoods — but the information about what's happening (a quena concert in Glendale, a ceviche festival in Gardena, a marinera workshop in Long Beach) lives scattered across Facebook groups, WhatsApp chains, and printed flyers. We pull it together in one place.

How content gets here

  • Curation — every event and business is reviewed before publishing. Nothing auto-posts.
  • Community submissions — anyone can submit an event. We respond within 48 hours.
  • Public sources — we monitor public calendars (consulates, museums, community RSS feeds) for events that fit the community's interests.
