Watching a Peru national team game among Peruvians is a completely different experience from watching alone at home. There are bars and restaurants in LA that fill up every time Peru plays — no matter the time, no matter who they play against. This guide tells you where to go.

Peruvian restaurants that show every game

South Bay

  • El Rocoto (Gardena) — big screen, family atmosphere, whole groups show up. If Peru plays at 11 AM Pacific, it usually fills with reservations.
  • El Pollo Inka Lawndale — more casual but the screen is always on when there's a game. Comfortable for kids.

Hollywood

San Fernando Valley

  • Peru's Taste (Northridge) — Valley's gathering spot. More relaxed than South Bay places.
  • Puro Sabor (Van Nuys) — good vibe, big screen.

Westside / Santa Monica

  • Qusqo Bistro & Gallery — only opens for dinner (evening), so only fits PM games. But the vibe when they put one on is very Peruvian.

East LA

  • Con Sabor a Perú (Venice Blvd) — strong community on this side, screen always on.

What to expect when Peru plays

  • Arrive 30 minutes early for important games (qualifiers, Copa América, classic friendlies). It fills up.
  • Bring cash if it's a popular game — some restaurants impose a minimum-spend per table during games.
  • Order Peruvian beer if they have it: Cusqueña, Cristal, Pilsen Callao are the classics. Many restaurants stock them.
  • Pair it with ceviche, anticuchos, pollo a la brasa — finger-food plates are perfect for not missing plays.
  • National team jersey is welcome — you'll see plenty.

2026 Peru national team calendar

2026 season includes:

  • 2030 World Cup qualifiers — games every 2 months (Oct, Nov, Feb, Mar, Jun) usually Thursday or Tuesday.
  • Copa América 2026 — hosted in the US (second consecutive time). Peru's games will likely be accessible from LA.
  • Preparation friendlies — Peru usually plays 2-3 friendlies before each qualifier window.

Non-Peruvian but compatible bars

If you don't want to go to a Peruvian restaurant (e.g. out with non-Peruvian friends), look for bars with sports TV and general South American vibes:

  • Argentine / Colombian bars in Westside and Mid-City — usually carry South American broadcasts.
  • Big sports bars like Yard House — they have premium subscriptions and will put on big games if you ask politely.
